NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) –
A Cookeville woman is taking the trip of a lifetime to witness the revelry of the royal wedding in person.
Including this week’s trip, this marks Sylvia Horn’s 16th trip to England.
Horn flew over Tuesday night and took the train to Windsor on Thursday. Her hotel is about a 16-minute walk from Windsor Castle.
She and a friend will be camping out for the night along the carriage route so they can hopefully catch glances of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Horn met Prince Harry on a trip four years ago and even got her picture taken with him.
This is not Horn’s first royal wedding. She was also there for the nuptials of Prince Williams and Duchess Kate. During that wedding, she stood just feet away from Queen Elizabeth II.
Horn is an adjunct professor at Tennessee Tech. She has been teaching for 39 years.
