Murfreesboro TN is a really nice city. While I wouldn’t want to live there again, I did enjoy my time there. Furthermore, I would always love to go back and visit. I have old friends that live there. My father lived there up until a few years ago, too. I attended school there for a year at MTSU and lived there for almost six years. When is the last time you were in Murfreesboro?
It’s a nice drive up in those parts, a nice scene, very rustic but also metropolitan. And there are some great places to eat, too. Let me tell you about a few of them. While you are visiting Murfreesboro, you will know where to grab that bite to eat.
The first place I want to tell you about is Peter D’s. By the way, before I tell you about this establishment, the best restaurant to eat at in Murfreesboro then and now is Demos’ Restaurant. I have already mentioned it in a previous article, so I wanted to leave it at that. Still, it was the top restaurant then, now, and I don’t see anyone really unseating it anytime soon, especially if you ask the locals.
Peter D’s is on Medical Center Parkway, and it serves up delicious burgers, chicken, banana pudding and more. People talk about the friendly staff there, so you know you are in for a treat. Have you tried Thai chicken quesadillas or Reuben fritters?
Let’s look at two more restaurants briefly so you have a couple more picks. Tandoor Indian is on Thompson Lane, and it is of course your top spot for great Indian food. Then there is Zoes Kitchen on Medical Center Parkway, which offers up Greek and Mediterranean style cuisine. Enjoy your visit to the boro as they call it, and that includes all of the good food that you will eat there.
